Queue management for brand activations and launches
Test drives, product specialists and photo moments run on queues and time slots, so guests spend the visit with your product instead of in a line, and you leave with consented leads.
The problem
The queuing problem at a launch
At a launch or a brand activation, the most valuable moments are also the most limited. A test drive needs a car and a driver, a specialist can talk to one group at a time, and a reveal happens at a set time. Guests who can't tell how long they'll wait often leave before they reach the product, and the people who do wait spend that time looking at a barrier rather than the brand.
Then there's what happens after. A guest list from the door says who came, not who sat in the car, spoke to a specialist or asked to be contacted.
How Cue runs it
How Cue runs a brand activation
Each experience gets the set-up that fits it. Our automotive demo shows most of them in one place:
- Time slots for test drives and timed reveals, so guests book a time and come back for it.
- Hybrid for product specialists: booked consultations with a walk-in line alongside, like the Product Specialist in the demo.
- Queue for photo moments and short experiences, such as the Podium Photo and the Hot Lap Simulator.
- Walk-up moments, such as the Coin Press and the Vinyl Booth, that guests enjoy while they wait.
- Declarations before an experience, such as confirming a driving licence before a test drive.
Lead capture is part of joining, not an extra form. Queue alerts and marketing are separate choices, the marketing box is never pre-ticked, and the wording names your brand as the data controller.
For guests
What guests see
Guests join from a QR code or the link in their invitation. Invited guests are greeted by name; walk-ups give a first name and a mobile number. The pass shows live waits and available times, lets guests book a slot or join a line, and carries your brand, colours and domain. When their turn comes, a WhatsApp message arrives with a code to show and a hold timer.
Everything is available in Arabic with a right-to-left layout, which matters for launches in the Gulf, where audiences are mixed.
For your team
What staff see
Hosts at the entrance add guests on a tablet. Specialists and drivers see their upcoming bookings and the walk-in line on the console, call the next guest and check them in by code. If a car comes back late, the marshal pauses the station with a reason guests can see.
Venue screens show who is being called and how to join, so guests don't crowd the desk to ask.
Afterwards
What you get after the event
- A report of joins, waits, no-shows and ratings by experience and by hour.
- Consented leads with what each guest did at the event, ready for your sales team.
- A CSV export of the data you're allowed to keep, or a connection to your CRM set up for your event.
- Event data deleted on the schedule you set, with written confirmation.

Related use cases
Want the bigger picture? Read about our virtual queue system, or browse all use cases.
Can test drives use time slots and a walk-in line together?
Yes. An experience can offer booked slots, a walk-in line, or both, so spare places go to guests who are already on site.
Can guests confirm a driving licence before booking?
Yes. Each experience can ask guests to accept declarations, such as holding a valid licence, before they join.
How is marketing consent handled?
Queue alerts and marketing are separate choices. Marketing consent is optional, never pre-ticked, and the wording names your brand as the data controller.
Can invited guests skip the sign-up form?
Yes. Guests who open the pass from their invitation link are greeted by name and go straight to the experiences.
