Digital waitlist for beach clubs, pools and restaurants
Cabanas, pool daybeds, restaurant tables and spa treatments on one digital waitlist. Guests relax by the pool and get a WhatsApp message when their table or cabana is ready.
The problem
The waiting problem at a beach club
At a beach club or a hotel pool, the queue is a crowd at the host stand. Guests wait for a cabana, a daybed or a table with no idea how long it will be, and staff keep track on paper or in their heads. Parties of different sizes make it harder: a table for two frees up long before a table for eight. Some guests give up and leave, and the host only finds out when their name is called.
Meanwhile, the guests who are waiting aren't ordering a drink, booking the spa or enjoying the place they came for.
How Cue runs it
How Cue runs a beach club
Our Sunset Beach Club demo puts every area on one system:
- Waitlist by party size for Cabanas and Pool Daybeds, with estimates based on when a cabana or daybed of the right size is likely to be free.
- Waitlist and reservations for the Beach Restaurant: walk-in parties join the waitlist, others book a fixed time, and guests can note a seating preference such as sea view or shade.
- Time slots for Spa treatments, by treatment length.
- Queue with options for Watersports, with each activity on its own line and a declaration about age and swimming.
- Menu for the alcohol-free Sunset Bar, with sold-out items flagged.
Each area keeps its own list, so a guest can wait for a cabana and book a spa treatment at the same time.
For guests
What guests see
Guests join from a QR code at the entrance, on a table or in their room. They choose a party size, see an honest estimate and go and enjoy the pool. When their table or cabana is ready, a WhatsApp message tells them, and staff greet them by name. If plans change, guests can leave the waitlist from their phone, which frees the place for the next party straight away.
The pass uses your hotel's brand and sender name, in English or Arabic.
For your team
What staff see
Hosts see each waitlist by party size and use Seat next to give the next party a table or cabana, with its number recorded. Guests are checked in by code or name, and parties who arrive without a phone are added at the stand. Once a party is seated, the estimates update for everyone still waiting.
A "Ready for you" screen at the host stand shows the first name and initial of parties whose table or cabana is ready.
Afterwards
What you get afterwards
- Waits, no-shows and ratings by area and by hour.
- Consented guest contacts for your marketing team, where guests opted in.
- A CSV export of the data you're allowed to keep, or a connection to your CRM set up for your event.
- Event data deleted on the schedule you set, with written confirmation.

Can the waitlist handle different party sizes?
Yes. Each waitlist is split by party size, and the estimate reflects when a table or cabana of the right size is likely to be free.
Can guests book a table instead of waiting?
Yes. The restaurant can take fixed-time reservations alongside the walk-in waitlist.
How are guests told their table is ready?
By WhatsApp, with SMS or email as fallbacks, and on a "Ready for you" screen at the host stand.
Can we use our hotel's branding?
Yes. The pass, the messages and the screens carry your brand, colours and sender name.
